We are a private independent Christian school based in Chartwell, Fourways offering affordable and accessible quality education to learners within our community. We are looking for an experienced Intermediate Phase teacher for Social Science, Maths and Coding and Robotics for our Grade 4 to 6 learners with the same Christian values to nurture our young enquiring learners.

Minimum Requirements:

- Professional teaching qualification.

- Full SACE registration.

- At least 3 to 4 years teaching experience.

- Willing to uphold our Christian ethos of the school.

- Contactable references from previous work experiences.

:

Teach English for Grade 4 to Grade 6 using the CAPS curriculum and ensure learners understand the subject content and concepts in line with the ATPs. Expose the learners to a broad spectrum of teaching. Make use of resources and power point presentations. Be creative and interactive during lessons. Have good communication with learners. Have good classroom discipline. Have good communication skills with parents, in person and on email. Work independently and within a team. Assist with extra mural activities after school.

Administration Requirements:

Do lesson plans. Keep teacher admin and subject files and learner portfolio files up to date. Setup learner exams, assessments and assignments. Record learner marks and keep track of learners' progress. Check and mark learners' books. Record learner attendance and absenteeism. Keep record of learners' discipline in line with schools Code of Conduct. Be proficient with Microsoft Office and be able to use Google Classroom and D6+ for communication and admin. Must be able to communicate with parents in person and on email. Attend staff meetings, workshops and/or training when required.
