Job Description

:
Able to in-depth analyze and understand datasets using SQL
Develop, debug, and test solutions using various technologies & programming languages
Performing code reviews
Ability to create detailed systems solutions recommendations to improve datasets and performance within the architecture
Maintenance and monitoring of SQL environment
Working in a small development team taking on new features, spikes, and bugs
Working in an agile environment with stand-ups, sprints, and planning meetings
Establish and adhere to formalized processes with regard to incident handling, development, testing, and development.
Collaborate with data scientists and architects on several projects
Security maintenance of database
Liaise with the QA team to identify and fix bugs.
Maintenance and monitoring of existing solutions
Improving data quality and efficiency
Plan, design, implement, document, test and release new features

Skills & Experience:
Minimum of 3-5 years+ C# and SQL development and database administration experience
Ability to work under pressure with cross-functional teams
Database security skills and experience
Possess exceptional problem-solving skills and the ability to work with little or no supervision
Previous experience as a data engineer or in a similar role
Aptitude and willingness to learn and grow while having fun in a dynamic team.
Solid understanding and experience using C#, SQL, and RDBMS
Resourcefulness ability and desire to dig in to solve problems
Knowledge of programming languages (e.g., C#, Java, and Python)

Highly Desirable skills:
Experience with Big Data and Even Driven technologies would be an advantage, Cloudera Hadoop
Agile, Scrum
Git, JIRA
PowerBI Reporting
SSIS development
Previous experience in integrating disparate solutions across a multitude of technology stacks. Understanding how to architect solutions that can scale horizontally, including multi-threading.
Understanding and having actively used SOLID principles and design patterns.
JSON/XML, REST/RESTful APIs
Release Automation
Understanding and having implemented Test Driven Development

Qualification:
Bachelors Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering or proven experience-based equivalent
