Responsibilities/TasksRequirements Managementxc2xb7Conduct structured and semi-structured requirements elicitation sessions with stakeholders (individuals and small groups) using appropriate techniques to gather clear and complete information.xc2xb7Analyse and document business processes, data flows, rules, and system behaviours to understand current operations and identify potential improvements.xc2xb7Capture and update requirements in Enterprise Architect (EA) according to Interfront standards, including the documentation of Change Proposals (ECPs) where required.xc2xb7Prepare and maintain project artefacts that support traceability, stakeholder communication, and development activities.xc2xb7Maintain accurate notes from engagement sessions and use them to verify and validate requirements with stakeholders and the project team.xc2xb7Collaborate with senior BAs, project managers, and systems engineers/architects to prioritise requirements based on customer value, implementation feasibility, and business impact.xc2xb7Assist in validating built systems by comparing actual behaviour with documented requirements, reporting any discrepancies to the lead BA.xc2xb7Participate in discussions around requirement changes and assist in assessing their impact on business processes or systems.xc2xb7Demonstrate growing autonomy in managing your own tasks while proactively seeking guidance from senior team members when needed.Stakeholder Engagement and Communicationxc2xb7Build trust and maintain open communication with stakeholders through professional and positive interactions.xc2xb7Clearly communicate elicited requirements, proposed solutions, and process changes to both business and technical teams.xc2xb7Conduct meetings to gather input and confirm mutual understanding of requirements.xc2xb7Tailor communication style and detail level based on the stakeholder audience, with support or coaching from senior team members where appropriate.xc2xb7Collaborate with team leads to ensure timely dissemination of accurate functional requirement information across relevant disciplines/teams.xc2xb7Escalate stakeholder concerns or misalignment promptly to the senior BA and project manager for resolution.Qualification supportxc2xb7Assist in representing client requirements throughout all phases of SDLC.xc2xb7Perform necessary tests on built systems as part of the Interfront testing efforts to ensure correct functional behaviour.xc2xb7Gain and grow in understanding of requirements verification and validation efforts, including test coverage.Product Transition supportxc2xb7Assist in the drafting of user manuals/guides for Interfront systems.xc2xb7Assist in the preparation and delivery of user training and/or training materials on built Interfront systems.Closing date: 30th of May 2025Contract type: Permanent Hybrid positionMinimum Requirementsxc2xb7Tertiary qualification in Commerce, Informatics, Industrial Engineering or Information Systems (or similar).xc2xb7Business Analysis diploma/certification (advantageous)xc2xb73-6 years demonstrated experience as a Business Analyst in the functional analysis, design and qualification of large-scale business solutions.xc2xb7Good working experience within the SDLC, from initiation and Requirements management, until the transition into the target operational environment.xc2xb7Demonstrated use of business modelling techniques in accordance with BPMN and UML standards.xc2xb7Knowledge of Software testing/QAxc2xb7Demonstrated use of Sparx Enterprise Architect (advantageous)xc2xb7Demonstrated use of Function Point measurement (advantageous)Personal Profilexc2xb7Strong analytical, problem-solving and critical thinking skills.xc2xb7Ability to deal with high complexity and integrate information.xc2xb7Good general communication skills (presentation, written, verbal).xc2xb7Ability to engage and communicate with multiple stakeholdersxc2xb7Excellent documentation skills.xc2xb7Attention to detailxc2xb7High relationship awareness and well-developed self-management.xc2xb7Quick learner.xc2xb7Self-starter.xc2xb7Team player.
