OBJECTIVE
The Integration Specialist is responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining system integrations across a diverse set of business applications. This role plays a critical part in ensuring seamless data flow, process efficiency, and system interoperability. The Integration Specialist collaborates with cross-functional teams to identify integration needs, troubleshoot issues, and support new application rollouts, while ensuring data integrity and compliance with internal standards. The role supports business transformation and operational excellence by enabling connected, automated, and scalable systems.
Key Responsibilities:
Integration Development & Implementation
-Design, build, and deploy system integrations between business applications (e.g., ERP, CRM, HRIS).
-Develop APIs, connectors, and ETL workflows to ensure secure and reliable data flow.
-Perform unit, integration, and system testing to validate functionality and performance
System Maintenance & Support
-Monitor integrations to ensure uptime, performance, and data accuracy.
-Troubleshoot and resolve integration failures, data discrepancies, and connectivity issues.
-Maintain integration documentation and configuration records
Project Support & Collaboration
-Collaborate with business analysts, developers, and application owners to gather requirements.
-Participate in new system implementations or upgrades by enabling integration readiness.
-Ensure integration solutions are aligned with enterprise architecture and standards.
Compliance & Process Improvement
-Ensure integrations meet internal security, compliance, and data privacy standards.
-Identify opportunities to automate workflows and reduce manual data handling.
-Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives within the Business Applications team.
Post-Implementation & Monitoring
-Provide hyper-care support for new integrations during stabilization periods.
-Analyze integration logs and performance metrics to identify improvement areas.
-Conduct post-integration reviews and incorporate lessons learned into future projects.
Qualifications & Skills:
Education:
Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Systems, Engineering, or a related technical field -- or equivalent work experience.
