The individual will be a Call Centre Agent, part of a team of Call Centre Agents that:
Sell insurance products telephonically to potential policyholders by reading from an approved script,
Utilise a call center dialer to manage lead follow-up
Strive to achieve insurance policy sales and campaign targets
Assist policyholders with policy administration
Follow up on policyholders who have not paid their premiums
Ensure excellent customer service and fair treatment of policyholders
Adherence to quality, training and compliance processes
Accurately recording policy sales and maintaining policyholder information
Requirements:
Grade 12
Meeting the Regulatory Fit and Proper requirements
Advantageous:
Additional South African Languages
Sales, Marketing, or Insurance Diploma/Degree
Proven track record in achieving sales targets
FAIS Regulatory Exam (RE5) for Representatives
Ideal Experience:
2 years + Call Centre experience, and/or
2 years + Insurance sales / Financial Services experience
Competencies:
Proficient in English
Good communication and conflict management skills
Attention to detail
Computer Literate in MS Office (Word, Excel and Outlook)
Knowledge and understanding of Insurance Legislation and Regulation (advantageous)
Self-motivated, committed and willing to learn
Work under pressure in a target-orientated environment
Problem-solving skills
