Job Description
Job Summary
Key Responsibilities
- Partner with actuarial and business teams to deliver insights on pricing, reserving, and risk
- Analyse large and complex insurance datasets to identify patterns and opportunities
- Support IFRS 17 reporting with accurate, compliant data pipelines
- Build and optimise predictive models and reporting tools
- Translate complex technical results into clear, actionable insights for decision-makers
- Education: Bachelor's Degree in Data Science, Statistics, Computer Science, Mathematics, or related field (Honours/Master's an advantage)
- Experience: Proven experience within the insurance industry (essential)
- Skills:
- Proficiency in SQL, Python, R, or similar tools
- Understanding of IFRS 17 and insurance data structures
- Strong analytical mindset and communication skills -- ability to explain complex data in plain English
