We are looking for an Insurance Coordinator to manage insurance renewals, liaise with brokers, and build strong relationships with Property Managers and Senior Managers. The ideal candidate will have insurance or property sector experience, excellent organisational skills, and a proactive approach to problem-solving. Key Responsibilities: Insurance Management: Work with our preferred broker, to ensure all insurance matters are handled effectively.New Business Development: Secure new business and arrange policies for new clients through St Giles.Stakeholder Communication: Liaise with insurance brokers, clients, and directors of managed buildings to provide necessary information.Database Management: Maintain a detailed database of Urang's property portfolio and corresponding insurance policies.Onboarding Support: Collaborate with the new business and onboarding team to ensure new buildings' policies are set up correctly.Policy Liaison: Act as the main contact for insurance-related queries from clients and internal staff.Compliance Checks: Verify internal records to ensure buildings insurance, directors' and officers' insurance are in place for each location and determine if engineering insurance is required.Quotations & Documentation: Complete insurance quotation requests and issue insurance client packs to directors.Policy Updates: Notify brokers of lost business and keep records updated.General Administrative Support: Assist with other insurance-related activities as required. Key Skills & Qualifications: Experience in insurance or the property sector (preferred).Strong negotiation and sales abilities.Excellent relationship management skills.Proficiency in Excel and data management.Ability to conduct online research, including Google image searches.Highly organised with the ability to meet strict deadlines.Knowledge of buildings insurance and insurance terminology is an advantage. Personal Attributes: Results-driven and motivated to close deals.Self-motivated with the ability to work independently.Creative problem-solver with strong analytical skills.Excellent attention to detail and administrative abilities.Strong team player with great communication skills (verbal and written).Tech-savvy and comfortable using various ICT tools (Microsoft Word, Excel, etc.).Customer-focused with a commitment to excellent service.Supportive of diversity and inclusion, treating everyone with respect and fairness.
