As an ongoing recruitment effort, Trafalgar Birdhaven is in search of a dynamic candidate with a passion for the property industry to join our team as a

Insurance Claims Consultant.

The primary focus of the Senior Accounts Payable Administrator is to ensure payment of all Trust Related Adhoc and Recurring invoices and to ensure accurate, consistent and prompt financial and administrative assistance to the Community Scheme Portfolio Managers which should be in line with world class service delivery.


Purpose & objectives of the role:




Registration and processing of Insurance Claims Accurate and timeous processing of new claims Appointing of contractors Liaising with owners & portfolio teams Follow up and feedback provided to clients Payment of claims Ensuring a smooth claims process been adhered to at all times, with quick turnaround times

Responsibilities include (but are not limited to):




Consultant to register the claim on the insurance system Make outbound call to the unit owner Verify that a claim has been registered Consultant to advise the owner & contractor of the excess applicable Consultant to send the quotations for damages to the insurer for approval Follow up with insurer for approval & inform contractor to proceed Communicate a date and time with the owner on which the contractor will attend Arrange payment for the contractor's invoice Finalize the claim on the insurance system Weekly feedback to be provided

Minimum Requirements:




RE5 qualification Matric certificate 4+ years experience as an Insurance Claims Consultant insurance credits Own transport License Computer Literacy (Microsoft Word & Excel)
