Job Summary Description:
Hire Resolve's client is currently looking for a skilled Instrument Technician to join their mining team based in Mpumalanga. As an Instrument Technician, you will be responsible for the installation, maintenance, and repair of various instruments and control systems used in mining operations.
Responsibilities:

• Safeguard team members' health and safety by following relevant standards and protocols during all maintenance planning and execution.
• Conduct inspections in alignment with MHSA regulations and company standards.
• Support a Zero Harm culture by complying with legislative, health, safety, environmental, and security policies, along with applying specific guidelines to tasks and work areas.
• Ensure safe and efficient operation of equipment, systems, and processes within your area of responsibility.
• Carry out preventive maintenance and quality repairs in line with scheduled activities.
• Maintain accuracy and proper interaction between all process control field instruments and systems.
• Take part in and oversee various designated expansion or modification projects.

Requirements:

• Grade 12
• N6 or Diploma in Instrumentation
• Instrumentation Trade Test Certificate
• 5 years' experience as an Instrument Technician within the mining industry (Post-Trade)
• Valid Driver's License
