Inherent requirements:
Education
: Bachelor's degree in Instructional Design, Education, Multimedia Design, Communication, Psychology, or a related field.
Experience
: Minimum 5 years' experience in learning content development, instructional design, and multimedia-based education. A portfolio showcasing your work will be required.
Advanced knowledge of learning design principles and adult learning theory
Excellent communication and writing skills
Duties and responsibilities:
Learning Needs Analysis
Conduct in-depth needs assessments to identify knowledge gaps and learning objectives that align with business goals and audience needs.
Creative Curriculum Design
Develop end-to-end learning journeys using creative storytelling, interactive elements, and visual design principles across various formats: e-learning, instructor-led, virtual sessions, and blended programmes.
Instructional & Visual Design
Design learning experiences that are not only pedagogically sound but also visually appealing and immersive. Translate learning objectives into clear, engaging structures with a strong narrative flow.
Content Development
Create original, high-quality digital learning materials such as videos, animations, infographics, interactive simulations, quizzes, and job aids. Ensure content is inclusive, accessible, and aligned with brand identity.
Technology Integration
Use authoring tools (e.g. Articulate Storyline, Adobe Captivate, Camtasia, Vyond) and Learning Management Systems (e.g. Moodle) to build and deploy learning content. Stay current with emerging tools and platforms.
Evaluation & Iteration
Gather feedback and evaluate learning effectiveness using assessments, analytics, and learner insights. Iterate content to continuously improve outcomes and engagement.
Cross-functional Collaboration
Partner with subject matter experts (SMEs), marketing, communications, and learning teams to co-create compelling content that meets business and learner needs.
