Senior Fullstack Developer (IT consultant)

Remote (South Africa-based only)

Independent Contractor | 3-6 Month Contract (must be able to invoice monthly))

Role Summary

InspiredXpert is looking for a senior full stack developer to support a high-impact client project on a contract basis. This role suits an experienced consultant with strong backend .NET expertise, solid modern JavaScript frontend skills, and comfort working independently in complex, distributed systems. You'll be joining a client-facing IT services environment, working remotely but closely with technical and delivery teams.

Key Responsibilities

Design and develop scalable APIs and services using .NET Core Build responsive UIs using Angular or React Work with event-driven architecture (Kafka, RabbitMQ) Manage data via MongoDB and Redis Leverage Docker, Kubernetes and CI/CD pipelines for deployment Collaborate with internal and client stakeholders to define and deliver technical solutions Contribute to architectural decisions, reviews, and technical best practices

Essential Skills & Experience

10+ years' experience as a full stack developer in consulting or services environments Advanced .NET Core, C#, WebAPI, SQL Server Strong JavaScript (React or Angular), HTML, CSS Experience with Kafka, MongoDB, Redis, or RabbitMQ Exposure to Docker, Kubernetes, CI/CD practices Excellent communication, autonomy, and problem-solving skills.
