DO YOU HAVE WHAT IT TAKES
To be successful at Alfred H Knight the incumbent will need to display the following:
REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE AND WORK EXPERIENCE
Essential
Recording, checking, correcting and updating data
Ensure that the integrity and safety of the samples is maintained
Frequently liaise with the operations manager
Required Competencies
Quality Control
: Oversee the collection and handling of samples to ensure they are representative and uncontaminated
Equipment Maintenance
: Ensure that sampling equipment is in good working condition
Staff Training
: Train and guide sampling personnel, ensuring that the team members are knowledgeable about proper sampling techniques
Reporting
: Prepare and submit reports on sampling activities, findings and any deviations from standard procedures. Communicate results to management
Conflict Resolution
: Ability to resolve conflicts or disputes among team members
Communication
: Maintain effective communication with team members, management and external parties to ensure that sampling objectives are met
Attention to detail
Time Management
Required Qualifications
Grade 12
Required work experience
At least 2 years working experience within Operations or a similar field
MS Excel and Word experience
