Job Description


To oversee the planning, prioritisation, organisation, negotiation, and management of all digital funnels for digital platforms in order to ensure the implementation of all projects and campaigns aimed at improving the user experience. Provides advice and counsel to staff, squads, project teams, and functional and non-functional user experience improvements on the majority of digital platforms, analytics, and insights anomalies in order to enhance conversion ratios. Insights are provided from all data and analytics sources.

Job Responsibilities

  • Effectively manage the delivery of analytics and insight services to the stakeholders and by understanding, assessing, and managing escalated analytics and user experience risks and objectives associated with programmes and projects
  • Establish and maintain analytics to monitor and oversee the achievement of commercial and marketing objectives.
  • Ensure effective optimisation of user experience, systems, processes, and technology by doing route cause analysis and taking corrective measurement and ensuring conversion rates per channel, per product, per process steps are achieved.
  • Mapping and designing the desired customer journey for each campaign, incorporating AB testing and continuously optimizing the journey while campaign is in flight.
  • Take responsibility for implementation of fixes and project governance relating to the fixes
  • Continuously encourage customer centricity by defining in all the funnels through insights and customer testing with the Design teams.
  • Contribute to a culture conducive to the achievement digital strategic objectives of the Bank.
  • Manage end to end customer experience in the Journey, deliver a world class user experience through others by ensuring a client centric culture through required interventions.
  • Provide guidance to businesses and agencies on integrating AppsFlyer, configuring OneLink and managing deep linking and facilitating audience creation.
  • Continuously analyze app performance metrics through tools like Appsflyer, to identify areas for improvement and optimization, encompassing various aspects of app campaigns and reporting.
People Specification

Essential Qualifications - NQF Level

Advanced Diplomas/National 1st Degrees
Field of Study: Relevant Tertiary Qualification

Preferred Qualification

Bachelor of Arts: Marketing , Bachelor of Commerce: Marketing

Essential Certifications
  • Marketing Association of South Africa (MASA)
Minimum Experience Level

2-3 years in analytics (Adobe Analytics or Google Analytics or Appsflyer, Adjust, Branch, Kochava)

2-3 years in digital sales optimisation (knowledge of A/B testing and experiment)

Technical / Professional Knowledge
  • Analytics Skills (Adobe Analytics or Google Analytics)
  • Appsflyer, Adjust, Branch, Kochava
  • Digital sales optimisation
  • Expertise in software development processes (Agile/Scrum and CI/CD) utilising technologies (e.g. GIT, JIRA, Kanban)
  • Industry Trends
  • Adobe Journey Analytics Knowledge of front-end languages and frameworks (e.g. CSS, HTML, JS, React)
  • Microsoft Office (specifically Excel) & Power BI
