 Monday to Thursday: 17:00 19:00 (on-call) 
 Friday & Saturday: 09:00 21:00 (on-call)

 After-Hours Support ("on-call"):
 If support is needed outside office hours, it can be done from home.
 The likelihood of being called is very low on average only 1 to 2 times per month.
 Typical calls involve simple issues like a computer not turning on. 
About the position: 
 Our client is looking for a dedicated and technically skilled IT Technician to play a critical role in maintaining IT infrastructure across 11 branches. The ideal candidate is reliable, knowledgeable, and willing to provide after-hours support when necessary. 
Requirements: 
 Minimum 1-2 years of relevant experience in In-House IT Support. 
 Experience with Python will be advantageous. 
 High school diploma or equivalent. 
 CompTIA A+ certification or a related degree/diploma in IT or Computer Science is advantageous. 
Key Responsibilities: 
 Hardware and Software Management: 
 Install and configure new computers, software, and equipment. 
 Troubleshoot and resolve hardware/software issues. 
 Perform updates and upgrades to operating systems and equipment. 
 Network Management: 
 Set up LAN/WAN networks, modems, and firewalls, and maintain them. 
 Ensure network security through antivirus programs and other measures. 
 Monitor network performance and proactively resolve issues. 
 User Support: 
 Provide first-line technical support to users. 
 Diagnose and resolve hardware, software, or network access issues.

 Sleutelverantwoordelikhede: 
 Hardeware- en sagtewarebestuur: 
 Installeer en konfigureer nuwe rekenaars, sagteware en apparatuur. 
 Spoor foute op en herstel hardeware/sagteware probleme. 
 Voer opdaterings en opgraderings van bedryfstelsels en toerusting uit. 
 Netwerkbestuur: 
 Stel LAN/WAN netwerke, modems en "firewalls" op en hou dit in stand. 
 Verseker netwerksekuriteit deur antivirusprogramme en ander maatreels. 
 Monitor netwerkprestasie en los probleme proaktief op. 
 Gebruiker Ondersteuning: 
 Bied eerstelyn tegniese ondersteuning aan gebruikers. 
 Diagnoseer en los hardeware-, sagteware- of netwerktoegangskwessies op.
