Job Description

Install, configure, and maintain Unix/Linux servers, ensuring optimal performance and uptime.



Monitor system performance, troubleshoot issues, and provide timely solutions.



Apply system updates, patches, and security fixes as part of routine maintenance.



Create and maintain system documentation, including procedures, configurations, and troubleshooting guides.



Support compliance with security standards and company policies.



Deploy, manage, and operate workloads on AWS and Azure, as well as implement security controls and compliance requirements.



Track and update Jira user stories to ensure due dates are met.



Assist to ensure stability of systems and adherence of the team to Operations standards.



Ensure quality and up to date content of the knowledge base for the sub-product.



Manage Problem, Incident and Change process for dedicated ITSM service.



Willing to do standby and work on weekends if needed.



Relevant IT Degree or Diploma.



Minimum of 5 years of IT operations experience.



Minimum of 5 years of configuration management and automation experience.



Strong experience with Unix/Linux operating systems (SUSE).



Proficiency in Shell Scripting.



Knowledge of High Availability systems including Veritas Infoscale.



Knowledge of system monitoring tools (Nagios, Grafana or similar) and backup solutions.



Oracle and SAP high level knowledge.



Solid understanding of networking concepts (DNS, DHCP, SSH, TCP/IP).



Strong experience with Cloud Technologies (AWS, Azure).



Strong knowledge with version control systems (GitHub).



Experience with ServiceNow (advantageous).
