We are seeking an experienced Infrastructure Engineer (Expert level) to join a dynamic, fast-paced IT environment. The successful candidate will play a key role in developing, implementing, and supporting secure network and infrastructure solutions, particularly within a Zero Trust initiative.
Key Responsibilities
Develop detailed technical architecture and infrastructure for the SSE solution.
Create comprehensive implementation plans with clear dependencies and milestones.
Develop automation scripts and workflows for deployment and configuration.
Ensure reproducible and secure infrastructure deployments.
Integrate monitoring and logging mechanisms for operational oversight.
Implement security measures and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
Support solution operations, including PoCs, platform development, and 24/7 standby.
Troubleshoot and remediate network and security incidents.
Provide technical documentation, guidance, and training for operations teams.
Contribute technical input during RFI and RFQ processes.
Essential Skills
Strong understanding of network architecture and design principles.
Knowledge of SASE/SSE architectures, firewalling, and VPN technologies.
Awareness of Zero Trust concepts and identity management practices.
Familiarity with SD-WAN, CASB, ZTNA, SWG components.
Experience with APIs, monitoring, and logging tools.
Agile working experience (mandatory).
Advantageous Skills
Previous involvement in network infrastructure projects.
Exposure to client management systems or cloud technologies.
Scripting capabilities.
Qualifications & Experience
Degree in IT or equivalent relevant experience.
3-5+ years' IT infrastructure experience.
Relevant network certifications.
SASE/SSE certification (beneficial).
