Infrastructure Engineer (Expert)
Contract: 01 Jan 2026 - 31 Dec 2028
Location: Hybrid - Pretoria
We're looking for an experienced Infrastructure Engineer to lead technical architecture and deployment of SSE solutions within our Zero Trust framework.
Key Requirements
Essential Skills:
- Strong understanding of network architecture, firewalling, VPNs, identity management, and Zero Trust principles
- Familiarity with SASE/SSE, SD-WAN, CASB, ZTNA, SWG
- Experience with APIs, monitoring, logging tools
- Agile working experience (mandatory)
- Network infrastructure project experience
- Exposure to cloud/client management systems
- Scripting ability
- Degree in IT or equivalent experience
- 3-5+ years in IT infrastructure
- Network and SASE/SSE certifications
- Design and implement SSE infrastructure
- Develop automation scripts and workflows
- Integrate monitoring/logging systems
- Ensure security, compliance, and operational support
- Provide documentation, training, and technical guidance
- Collaborate with teams and support PoCs, RFIs/RFQs
- Troubleshoot network/security incidents
