We are currently looking for an Information Security Specialist for our Information Security Ops Team in South Africa ??. The team is made up of high performing individuals delivering Security Products and Security support to resilient Data Centers, and upholding governance standards in heavily regulated industries. Responsibilities:
As an Information Security Specialist, you will primarily be responsible for line of business Information Security requirements, projects, and various operational activities. You will be responsible to assess information security risk in all aspects of his role and assist with the analysis, planning, implementation, maintenance, troubleshooting, and enhancement of security controls within GamesGlobal's Production Services and Information Technology Information Security systems. Daily responsibilities may include work on a diverse array of systems spanning traditional on premise and cloud IT infrastructures. From time to time, you may also get involved and assist in companywide projects and initiatives from time to time.
?? What you will be doing?

• Architects, designs, implements, maintains, and operates information system security controls and countermeasures.
• Analyses and recommends security controls and procedures in acquisition, development, and change management lifecycle of information systems, and monitors for compliance.
• Analyses and recommends security controls and procedures in business processes related to use of information systems and assets and monitors for compliance.
• Plan and coordinate in state ad-hoc and annual audits.
• Work with various internal and external stake holders to drive audit findings to closure.
• Design processes and implement systems to monitor systems for security incidents and vulnerabilities; develops monitoring and visibility capabilities; reports on incidents, vulnerabilities, and trends.
• Responds to information system security incidents, including investigation of, countermeasures to, and recovery from computer-based attacks, unauthorized access, and policy breaches; interacts and coordinates with third-party incident responders, including law enforcement.
• Design, deploy and administer authentication and access controls, including provisioning, changes, and deprovisioning of user and system accounts, security/access roles, and access permissions to information assets.
• Analyse trends, news and changes in threat and compliance environment with respect to organizational risk; advises organization management and develops and executes plans for compliance and mitigation of risk; performs risk and compliance self-assessments and engages and coordinates third-party risk and compliance assessments.
• Analyses and develops information security governance, including organizational policies, procedures, standards, baselines, and guidelines with respect to information security and use and operation of information systems.
• Develops and administers, or provides advice, evaluation, and oversight for, information security training and awareness programs.
• Work with various business stakeholders to solve various security challenges as they become known and visibility.
• Irrespective the nature of the engagement or problem at hand always be service oriented.
• Administer key security systems; Intrusion detection, web and data security, e-mail encryption, change audit system, anti-malware software, physical security systems
• Perform security related internal controls testing
• Investigate security related incidents as needed
• Provide technical security consulting to internal customers
• Network Security Implementation: Design, configure, and deploy security technologies and solutions to protect the organization's network infrastructure. This may include firewalls, intrusion detection/prevention systems, VPNs, authentication mechanisms, and encryption protocols.
• Firewall and Access Control: Manage firewall configurations, access control lists (ACLs), and network segmentation to ensure proper traffic filtering and access restrictions based on security policies.
• Support IT Staff as requested
• Ability to automate and drive an efficiency mindset over manual operational procedures
• Research, develop, and implement new security solutions
• Support and consult with auditors during audits
• Performs other duties as assigned

Qualifications:
Who are we looking for?

• At least 4 years of relevant working experience in the IT industry
• Working experience in Production Services, Networking security, Endpoint Security Solutions, AntiVirus, MS Cloud Security, 365 Security, Windows and Linus
• Proven track record in Service Delivery.

Advantageous skills would be:

• Working experience with Checkpoint/ Splunk/ Microsoft Azure / AWS and Containerization
• Experience on any of the following technologies

• Checkpoint
• Cisco
• Splunk
• Entrust
• Observe IT
• Microsoft SQL
• SQL DAM
• Netskope
• Ansible
• Proven security domain knowledge and/or subject matter expertise
