The Information Security Manager is pivotal in safeguarding the organisation's information systems by strategising, implementing, and maintaining robust cybersecurity measures. This role encompasses managing security initiatives, ensuring compliance with security standards such as ISO 27001, and driving cybersecurity awareness across the company. Additionally, the Information Security Manager is instrumental in steering the Cybersecurity and Digital Forensics Consulting services, offering solutions in Microsoft Security 365, VAPT, Digital Forensics, and IT Audit to a variety of clients. The role
extends to overseeing ICT support and management, ensuring effective and efficient resolution of technical issues, and maintaining high service quality standards. In this capacity, the manager leads initiatives to enhance the organisation's Microsoft Secure Score and plays a critical role in developing a
culture of cybersecurity resilience and responsiveness within Sourceworx.
Minimum qualification and experience:

• A bachelor's degree in cybersecurity, computer science, information technology, or a related field.
• Professional security management certification, such as a CISSP or CISM.
• Proven experience in a cybersecurity leadership role, preferably within an IT service-oriented environment.
• Demonstrable experience with cloud security, incident management, and compliance frameworks (e.g., ISO 27001, NIST).
• Strong understanding of the Microsoft security stack and experience improving Microsoft Secure Score.
• 10+ years of business development, project delivery and client relationship management in a technology environment
• Strong technical knowledge across various IT domains such as networking, infrastructure, cloud services, security, and software development is essential.

Technical Skills:

• Business Acumen - Understanding of business objectives and the ability to align network and field operations with overall organizational goals. Budgeting and financial management skills to optimize resources and control costs. Contract management and negotiation skills for dealing with vendors and service providers.
• Tech Stack - In-depth knowledge of network infrastructure, protocols, and technologies. Familiarity with various network equipment, hardware, and software. Proficiency in network monitoring and management tools. Understanding of ITIL (Information Technology Infrastructure Library) best practices.
• Leadership and Management Skills - Demonstrated leadership abilities, with the capability to lead and motivate teams. Strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively interact with team members, stakeholders, and clients. Ability to coordinate and manage resources effectively to meet operational demands. Excellent problem-solving and decision-making skills.
• Communication - Demonstrate, by example, in-depth knowledge of the Sourceworx competency principles and practices, including coaching, learning and mentoring. Be a Leader and team player - sets example for project managers, cybersecurity professionals and others to follow.

Experience:

• Minimum of 8 years of experience in a Senior/Management Information Security role.
