A leading, regulated enterprise organisation is seeking an experienced Information Security Manager to own and lead its enterprise-wide cybersecurity strategy, governance, and operations. This role is accountable for protecting a complex hybrid environment spanning on-premises and Azure platforms, Microsoft 365 E3/E5 security, SOC oversight, and regulatory compliance.
You will provide strategic leadership across cybersecurity architecture, identity and access management, security operations, and risk management, while partnering closely with executive stakeholders and divisional CIOs.
A strong focus is placed on SOC effectiveness, SIEM/SOAR integration, BYOD governance, branch network security, and alignment to recognised frameworks including NIST CSF, ISO standards, JSS, POPIA, and GDPR.
This position suits a senior security leader with deep Microsoft security expertise, proven experience managing high-performing cyber teams, and the credibility to operate at the executive level. Budget ownership, vendor management, audit readiness, and measurable risk reduction form part of the mandate.

Key Requirements

• Degree in IT, Computer Science, or related field
• 8+ years IT security experience, including 5+ years in leadership
• CISSP, CISM, or equivalent
• Microsoft Cybersecurity Architect Expert
• Strong SOC, SIEM, SOAR, and hybrid cloud security experience
