What You'll Bring: Role Responsibilities: xe2x80xa2 Support various stakeholders with security related queries or issues. xe2x80xa2 Vulnerability identification and remediation xe2x80xa2 Involvement in the evaluation, effectiveness and coverage of security products and tooling to continuously monitor and protect company assets. xe2x80xa2 Assessing security risks xe2x80xa2 Support awareness activities to ensure continuous improvements to the security culture for the organisation. xe2x80xa2 Support ISO27001, PCI DSS and other internal and external audit programmes xe2x80xa2 Support the continuous improvement of security policies and standards. Key Tasks: xe2x80xa2 Working with project and product teams to provide support and guidance and to ensure compliance with security policy and standards. xe2x80xa2 Coordinates vulnerability management activities and remediation work with IT teams. xe2x80xa2 Perform security assessments with recommendations to mitigate and reduce risk. xe2x80xa2 Working with technology and security teams, the role will drive initiatives such as vulnerability assessment and penetration testing workstreams. xe2x80xa2 Support the improvement of technical processes to create efficient and secure methodologies. xe2x80xa2 Help to embed a strong security culture within the organisation. xe2x80xa2 Support the management and investigation of security events including post incident reviews in conjunction with other security teams. Impact You'll Make:

• Educational or technical background in an Information Security discipline or relevant experience.
• Knowledge of vulnerability management.
• Understanding of technical security risks and threats.
• Is passionate for Cyber or Information Security
• Willingness to learn and undertake formal and informal training should it be required.
• Ability to grasp high-level technical concepts.
• Ability to drive own workload identifying risks and requirements working flexibly where required.

It is a requirement of the Global Capability Centre Africa that you reside in a home that is fibre ready; and has space for you to be able to work comfortably and confidentially on a day-to-day basis for the purpose of your proposed employment. You can be based anywhere in South Africa and will not be able to work in a location outside of South Africa.
