Job Description

Job Summary
Work closely with R and D and design teams during the product development phase to provide Design for Manufacturability (DFM) input, ensuring products are optimized for efficient production
Develop and implement manufacturing processes, including assembly lines, equipment, and tooling, for new products and product improvements
Conduct feasibility studies, risk assessments, and cost analyses to determine the most viable manufacturing methods and materials
Collaborate with suppliers to source and evaluate materials, components, and equipment to meet quality and cost objectives
Design and oversee the creation of jigs, fixtures, and other manufacturing aids to improve process efficiency and product consistency
Identify opportunities for process improvements, cost savings, and cycle time reductions while maintaining product quality and performance
Establish and maintain production documentation, including work instructions, process specifications, and quality standards
Train production operators and technicians on new processes and ensure smooth knowledge transfer during product transitions
Lead root cause analysis and troubleshooting efforts to address any production issues and implement corrective actions
Participate in regular meetings and progress reviews, providing insights and updates on the industrialization process

Skills & Experience:
Minimum 4 yearsxe2x80x99 experience as an Industrialization Engineer
Proven experience in industrialization and manufacturing processes within the electrical manufacturing industry

Qualification:
BSc/ BEng/ BTech Industrial Engineering
