Strong analytical and problem-solving mindset, as well as excellent communication skills to collaborate with cross-functional teams
Proficiency in process mapping and workflow analysis.
Strong knowledge of Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, and Kaizen principles.
Proficiency in CAD software (e.g., AutoCAD) in designing layouts
Responsibilities:
Using data analysis, Lean manufacturing principles, and industrial equipment knowledge, evaluating warehouse processes, facility layouts, and supply chain logistics to make data-driven recommendations
Design and implement new or improved systems, processes, and facility layouts to maximize productivity and efficiency.
Evaluate and analyze all packaging processes, from material sourcing and design to final distribution, to identify areas for efficiency gains and cost reduction.
Develop new packaging solutions for both existing and new products, focusing on cost, functionality, and sustainability.
Establish, track and report on key performance indicators (KPIs) for third-party logistics (3PL) partners and packaging material suppliers to ensure performance meets or exceeds contractual agreements.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in industrial engineering, Packaging engineering or a related field.
Proven experience in a manufacturing or distribution environment, with a track record of process improvement and packaging development.
5 Years of Automotive Experience is preferred.
