Minimum Requirements:

A Master's Degree in Nursing A Qualification in Nursing Education 3 years' experience as a Nurse 1 - year experience working in a higher education Registration with SANC as a General Nurse, Midwife, Nurse Educator Assessor and Moderator Code 8 driver's license

Additional Recommendation

Understanding of tertiary institution imperatives g. SAQA NQF and current trends in the SA context Experience in research will be an added advantage Computer literacy in MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Internet use Preference will be given to candidates that are registered for PhD An additional qualification in Midwifery will be an advantage

Summary of Duties

Participate in Research Development Be willing to participate in Curriculum Development Engage in community/External Engagement Services including playing an active role in the functioning of professional and discipline related associations WIL support and co-ordination Teaching and learning and other activities related
