Ivanplats is looking for a Induction Facilitator.

IVANPLATS (Pty) Ltd, a subsidiary of Ivanhoe Mines, is advancing the development of its world-class palladium-rhodium-nickel-copper-gold project in the Limpopo Province near Mokopane. This unique mineral deposit will be exploited using large mechanised state-of-the-art underground mining methods, deploying the latest technology to develop this "mine of the future". Suitably qualified and experienced candidates are invited to apply for the following vacancies required for the project development.

Suitable candidates must possess the following minimum qualifications and skills:

Grade 12 ODETDP qualifications would be advantageous Basic knowledge of the mining industry Occupational health and safety standards Facilitation skills and qualifications

Suitable candidates must have the following work experience:

1 years' experience in facilitation MD Office Experience and computer literate Must ensure all attendees complete the induction register Facilitate all the induction material, giving extra focus to those employees that don't understand concepts Oversee the CBT induction process and assessment, including marking when required Complete the induction process flow, which allows access to the mine.

The successful candidate will be responsible for, but not be limited to:

Compliance and application of Sect 22 and 23 of the Mine Health and Safety Act Always observing health and safety regulations Responsible for the housekeeping of the induction venue Return attendance sheets and evaluation forms to the Training Administrator Set up the training room ready for delegates Prepare certificates and pass out documentation for staff completed induction and send out to sites
