Import/Export Controller - JhbAs an Executive Search and Career Consultant specializing in the niche market of Supply Chain, Irepresent some of the top leaders and am called upon by blue chip organizations in the country tosecure talent and assist them in building high performance teams.A leading Agricultural Group is looking for an Import/Export Controller to be based at their office inJohannesburg.Manage and oversee the import/export operations of the organisationEnsure compliance with all import/export regulations and lawsPrepare and manage documentation for the customs clearance processCoordinate transportation and logistics activities with suppliers, freight forwarders, and otherstakeholdersManage and monitor inventory levels and coordinate with suppliers to ensure timely delivery ofproductsDevelop and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including suppliers, freightforwarders, and customs officialsPrepare and analyse reports on import/export activities, including shipping schedules, costs, andinventory levelsDevelop and implement strategies to optimise import/export operations and reduce costsQualification Requirements:Grade 12, Logistics related degree or diploma would be beneficialExperience:3-5 years of experience in import/export operations and logistics managementIn-depth knowledge of import/export regulations and lawsExperience with customs clearance and transportation logisticsStrong analytical and problem-solving skillsExcellent communication and interpersonal skillsAbility to work independently and manage multiple tasks and projects simultaneouslyProficient in Microsoft Office and logistics management software The People Shop (Pty) Ltdwww.peopleshop.co.za012 462 2828Job Type: PermanentJob Location: JohannesburgCTC: R 300 K - R 250 K
