We're on the hunt for a sharp, switched-on Import/Export Coordinator to join one of our growing clients in the Northern Suburbs. 
 This is not your average desk job -- you'll be managing the flow of goods across multiple international borders, handling sensitive trade documentation, and executing cross-trade strategies with freight forwarders, manufacturers, and global stakeholders. If you love logistics, thrive on precision, and have experience with customs, compliance, and complex documentation, this is your next big move. 
Responsibilities: 
 Orchestrating the end-to-end movement of global shipments, ensuring everything is on time, compliant, and fully documented. 
 Handling all import/export documentation (commercial invoices, bills of lading, SAD 500s, certificates of origin, and more). 
 Managing cross-trade shipments between foreign suppliers and customers using switch bills of lading. 
 Overseeing customs clearance, HS classification, and ensuring all APN, VAT, and Incoterms requirements are spot-on. 
 Working closely with global partners, freight forwarders, and customs brokers across multiple time zones. 
 Tracking costs and compiling landed cost reports, identifying opportunities for savings and improvements. 
 Keeping the internal team informed with detailed dashboards and shipment visibility updates. 
Requirements 
 Hold a Diploma in International Trade, Logistics Management, or Global Supply Chains or similar relevant qualification (NQF 5+). 
 Bring 3-5 years of solid experience in import/export or freight forwarding. 
 Are a pro with customs, Incoterms, and international shipping documentation. 
 Have experience managing switch bills of lading and cross-trade logistics. 
 Can keep cool when handling multiple shipments across different time zones -- and don't mind the occasional after-hours action. 
 Are detail-obsessed, compliance-driven, and comfortable juggling multiple priorities. 
Bonus Points For: 
 ICC Incoterms certification, FIATA or ITRISA qualifications. 
 Experience with Zoho Inventory or other Trade Management Software.
