Job Description

Create orders on key/critical commodities. Conduct Price Review and negotiations with Suppliers. Facilitate the selection of suppliers. Determine the best cost routing for suppliers. Liaise with the suppliers regarding quality and delivery issues. Draw up Supplier contracts/Service Level Agreements and Request for Quotes (RFQs). Imports

• Purchase Order update & print out through JDE & buyerxe2x80x99s email
• Update supplier Tracking via supplierxe2x80x99s sailing schedule & email correspondence
• Supplier Invoice received, checked & updated on excel shipping report

Export & local distribution xe2x80x93local excludes commercial invoice preparation

• Request quotations via email from service providers
• Tariff heading determination via SARS website or directly from the clearing agent
• Manual Invoice & packing slip prepared via excel spreadsheet
• Waybill completion as per selected courierxe2x80x99s instruction

Rebate

• Issuing out-of-stock slips for stock received via Rebate requisition form
• Capturing of rebate stock records on excel spreadsheet, details extracted from DA 62 form from supplier
• Work out how many pairs were made from product xe2x80x93 Calculations worked out from the rebate list
• Print out a list of rebate goods per month, file DA 62 forms & issue docs per month
• Daily physical checks of rebate store to ensure only rebate goods are stored

Customs Application

• Investigation with the relevant department xe2x80x93 done via direct meetings or emails
• Printing of relevant documents for an application xe2x80x93 this includes investigation with SARS office on correct forms to use
• Drafting of applicable customs application letters xe2x80x93 via SARS checklist guide which is requested from SARS

Matric/Grade 12 Tertiary Qualification in Supply Chain or Finance 5+ years of import buying experience in a manufacturing environment Skills: Excellent negotiating skills. Ability to drive cost-saving initiatives while maintaining product quality. Strong customer-facing skills. Presentable and professional. Supply Chain background and expertise. A strong finance background will be advantageous. Computer Literate, preferably on an MRP System. Job Type: Full-time Salary: R30,000.00 - R38,000.00 per month Ability to commute/relocate:
