Implementation Engineer: Water Tech (JHB) (LC_685) Scientific (Technical)

ESSENTIALS

Matric PLUS Tertiary qualification: BTech Water Tech / BEng Water with 2~3 yrs relevant work experience. Understanding of water treatment technologies is required. Technical design & installation experience preferred. Professional communication skills in English, self-starter, practically minded, willing to work on site and oversee installations. Must be a SA citizen, with drivers license & own vehicle, willing to travel.

Location: Johannesburg-based, working in Gauteng and surrounding (working on remote sites)

Salary: Market related salary

DETAILS

Exciting opportunity for a Water Technologist / Water Treatment Implementation Engineer to join an established business in water technology and wastewater treatment solutions. The incumbent will interact directly with clients and play a crucial role in bringing water treatment solutions to life.

The ideal candidate will have a good understanding of Water Filtration technologies and be proficient in technical design review for implementation and installation on site. Responsibilities are varied and include proactively engaging with customers, upskilling in technical product range knowledge, site installation, testing & commissioning and troubleshooting to identify and resolve technical issues during installation and / or system operation.

REQUIREMENTS

• BTech Water Technology / BEng Water / relevant tertiary qualification
• 2~3 years experience in water technology projects
• Willing to work on construction sites, oversee installations, wear PPE
• Must be highly computer literate (Technical Design software, Microsoft Excel etc.)
• Ideally understand safety regulations / procedures in water treatment industry
• Excellent communication skills (verbal & written), ability to collaborate with clients
• South African citizen, willing to travel
• Valid drivers license + own vehicle
