Overview

We are urgently seeking

immediately available Chartered Accountants

with strong

finance technology and transformation experience

to support a

major finance transformation programme

within a large, high-growth European fintech.

This role is ideal for finance professionals who combine

strong accounting fundamentals

with

hands-on technical capability

Finance, Technology, and Data

.

Key Responsibilities

Support large-scale

finance transformation initiatives

, including system change, process redesign, and automation. Work closely with Finance and Technology stakeholders to: Analyse current-state processes Identify improvement and automation opportunities Support implementation of finance technology solutions Build and maintain

advanced Excel models

to support reporting, analysis, and transformation activity. Use

VBA and SQL

to: Extract, manipulate, and validate financial data Automate reporting and reconciliation processes Translate complex financial and technical concepts into clear insights and recommendations for stakeholders. Support data-driven decision making across Finance functions.

What We're Looking ForEssential

Fully qualified Chartered Accountant

(CA (SA), or equivalent).

Immediately available

(or short notice). Proven experience working on

finance transformation or finance technology initiatives

. Strong

advanced Excel

skills. Hands-on experience with

VBA and SQL

. Strong understanding of core finance processes, including: Financial reporting Month-end close Controls and reconciliations Excellent communication skills and ability to work with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

Nice to Have

Experience working within

fintech, payments, or high-growth technology environments

. Exposure to enterprise finance systems (e.g. ERP, planning, reporting tools). Experience supporting automation, data, or systems-led change initiatives. Background in consulting or project-based finance roles.

Job Type: Temporary
Contract length: 6 months

Pay: R50000,00 - R80000,00 per month
