Job Description
A well-established financial services business is seeking to appoint an IFRS 9 SpecialistThe IFRS 9 Specialist will be responsible for overseeing the development, implementation, monitoring, and reporting of IFRS 9 impairment models and policies.
The role will ensure compliance with accounting standards, manage model governance, and support accurate financial reporting.Qualifications:
- Bachelorxe2x80x99s degree in Accounting, Finance, Actuarial Science, Risk Management, or related field
- BCom Honours or equivalent postgraduate qualification would be advantageous.
- Professional certifications such as CA(SA), CIMA, ACCA, CFA, FRM would be advantageous.
- 3xe2x80x935 years of experience working with IFRS 9 model development, validation, or implementation.
- Solid experience in financial services, banking, or credit risk management environments.
- Experience in preparing financial reports in compliance with IFRS standards.
- Advanced Excel skills
