About the Role:

We are seeking a skilled and reliable

HVAC Technician

to join our growing team in Bloemfontein. The successful candidate will be responsible for the installation, maintenance, and repair of heating, ventilation, and air conditioning systems -- as well as handling basic administrative tasks such as job reporting, scheduling, and digital record-keeping.

Key Responsibilities:

Install, service, and repair HVAC systems and related components. Conduct routine inspections and preventive maintenance. Diagnose faults and recommend effective solutions. Ensure all work complies with safety and environmental standards. Maintain accurate job cards, service reports, and equipment records. Communicate effectively with clients and office staff regarding job progress. Use computer systems and mobile applications to log work, complete reports, and manage schedules.

Requirements:

Minimum of 10 years' experience in HVAC installation and maintenance. Relevant HVAC trade qualification or certification. Valid driver's license (Code B or higher). Strong technical and troubleshooting skills. Computer literacy (Microsoft Office, email, job management software, etc.). Good communication and customer service skills. Strong organizational and time management abilities.

Advantageous:

Knowledge of electrical systems and controls. Experience with refrigeration systems and split units. Gas handling certification (if applicable).
