Job Description
Job Summary A global HVAC leader is looking for a HVAC Sales Engineer to drive project-based sales into the consulting engineering and building services space across Cape Town and surrounds. This role is ideal for a technically strong mechanical sales professional who thrives on specification-driven business.
Non-Negotiable Requirements
- Mechanical Engineering qualification (Diploma or Degree - essential)
- 5+ years' experience in HVAC / building services project sales
- Proven sales track record selling into consulting engineering firms
- Solid exposure to commercial, retail, healthcare, and large developments
- Valid driver's licence and ability to travel regionally
- Develop and manage relationships with consulting engineers, developers, and contractors
- Drive HVAC product specification and secure project wins
- Interpret mechanical designs, BOQs, and tender documentation
- Manage the full project sales cycle from design stage to final installation
- Support clients with technically sound HVAC solutions and system selection
- Contribute to pricing strategy, tenders, and major negotiations
