The Human Resources Specialist will be responsible for managing the end-to-end recruitment and selection process to ensure the organization attracts, hires, and retains top talent. This role involves developing effective sourcing strategies, maintaining strong candidate pipelines, collaborating with department heads to understand hiring needs, and ensuring a positive candidate experience aligned with company values.
Key Responsibilities
1. Recruitment & Talent Acquisition
Manage full recruitment cycle -- from job posting and candidate sourcing to interview coordination, selection, and onboarding.
Partner with hiring managers to understand workforce requirements and create accurate job descriptions.
Source candidates using various methods (job boards, social media, referrals, and networking).
Screen applications and conduct preliminary interviews to assess qualifications and cultural fit.
Coordinate and facilitate interviews with relevant stakeholders.
Manage offer negotiations and employment contracts.
2. Employer Branding & Candidate Experience
Promote the organization's employer brand through creative recruitment marketing and social media initiatives.
Ensure a smooth and professional candidate experience throughout the hiring process.
Participate in career fairs, networking events, and talent outreach initiatives.
3. Recruitment Administration
Maintain accurate recruitment data and candidate records in HR systems or Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS).
Prepare recruitment reports and analytics to track hiring progress and time-to-fill metrics.
Support compliance with labour laws, data protection, and company recruitment policies.
4. Onboarding & Integration
Coordinate onboarding logistics, orientation programs, and documentation for new employees.
Collaborate with HR and department managers to ensure smooth integration into the workplace.
5. Continuous Improvement
Research and recommend innovative sourcing methods and best practices in talent acquisition.
Assist in workforce planning and internal mobility initiatives.
Contribute to diversity, equity, and inclusion recruitment goals.
6. Human Resource (Other)
Supervise existing Human Resource functions
Qualifications & Requirements
Relevant Human Resources or Industrial Psychology qualification advantageous
2-5 years' experience in recruitment or talent acquisition
Experience with global talent acquisition preferred
Knowledge of HR and labour legislation
Strong communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills
Proficiency in Microsoft Office and HR software/ATS systems
Ability to handle confidential information with discretion
