Serve as an active member of the Exco, contributing to organizational strategy and decision-making.
Champion the company culture, values, and integrity across all levels of the business.
Advise the CEO and Board on HR, transformation, compliance, and people-related matters.
Oversee the end-to-end recruitment process: advertising, sourcing, interviewing, referencing, and background checks, and onboarding/induction.
Ensure full compliance with South African labour laws, including MIBCO regulations and Workmen's Compensation.
Ensure a positive work environment through proactive employee relations, address grievances, mediate disputes, and manage disciplinary processes
Oversee Employment Equity and BBBEE compliance, ensuring diversity and inclusion goals are achieved.
Ensure accurate payroll administration, compliance with statutory requirements, oversee time and attendance management, leave processing, and UIF documentation.
Implement engagement strategies including surveys, recognition programs, and team-building activities.
Develop and implement training and development programs aligned with business needs.
Manage learnerships, internships, and upskilling opportunities in line with BBBEE and EE goals.
Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Industrial Psychology, Business, or related field (postgraduate qualification advantageous).
Minimum 7-10 years' HR management experience, with at least 3 years in a leadership/Exco role.
Proven track record in industrial relations, transformation, and compliance.
Experience in a manufacturing/automotive or similar environment advantageous.
