We are seeking an experienced and proactive HR Manager to lead our human resources function.
The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of HR practices within the construction industry and be skilled in managing workforce planning, compliance, employee relations, and talent development.
Key Responsibilities:
Develop and implement HR strategies aligned with business goals
Oversee recruitment, onboarding, and retention of skilled workers and staff
Ensure compliance with labour laws, health & safety regulations, and industry standards
Manage employee relations, conflict resolution, and disciplinary procedures
Coordinate training and development programs
Maintain accurate HR records and reports
Support site managers with workforce planning and performance management
Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Industrial Psychology, or related field
Minimum 5 years' HR experience, preferably in construction or a similar industry
Strong knowledge of South African labour laws and HR best practices
Excellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills
Ability to work in a fast-paced, site-based environment
