Core Function:
Module Coordinator for the area of specialization (SME)
To facilitate face-to-face and online lectures
Develop, review, and moderate curriculum and assessments
Provide Academic consultation support
Grade assessments and provide stakeholder feedback
Undertake program and module reviews
Active involvement in research and publishing
Supervise postgraduate research
Identify students at risk and execute pastoral care
Undertake program and quality management administrative tasks
Minimum Requirements:
Qualifications:
An appropriate doctoral-level qualification or specialist Master level qualification in Human Resource Management or related fields including Industrial / Organisational Psychology
Human Resource Development and Labour African Board of People Practices (SABPP) Professional Registration (will be advantageous)
Experience:
5 years of academic experience
Demonstrate research engagement over the last 3 years
3 years of industry experience with be advantageous
Related knowledge, Competencies & Skills:
Be familiar with higher, distance, and online education
Be familiar with using learning management systems
Have a working knowledge of the South African Higher Education Regulatory Framework and its impact on Higher Education and Private Higher Education Institutions
Must be able to work within pre-determined time frames and deadlines
Must be able to speak confidently and demonstrate professionalism
Must be a collegial team player
Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Access, Internet, and Email)
Excellent writing and reporting skills
Possess a high level of ethics and confidentiality
