Job Summary Cape Town:OtteryYour Role & Responsibilities
Act as a trusted advisor to line management on productivity, employee relations, and organisational effectiveness.
Lead HR operations including recruitment, onboarding, performance management, and training
Implement and improve HR strategies aligned with business goals.
Drive initiatives in workforce planning, employee wellness, and engagement.
Coordinate employee relations matters including grievances, disputes, and disciplinary processes.
Ensure legal and procedural compliance across HR activities.
Lead learning and development initiatives and competency mapping.
Manage payroll inputs, employee benefits, and HR administrative processes.
Maintain HR systems, policies, and accurate employee records.
Contribute to a high-performance culture through data-driven decision-making and reporting.
Requirements:
A minimum undergraduate qualification in Human Resources.
Minimum 5 years HR experience in a manufacturing environment.
Strong knowledge of South African labour law and HR best practices.
Excellent relationship-building, conflict-resolution, and leadership skills.
Sound administrative, organisational, and communication abilities.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office and HR systems.
High emotional intelligence and professional discretion.
Currently in a Senior position.
Experience in Plastics and Manufacturing.
