Human Capital Manager

, you will be at the heart of our mission to build a sustainable, diverse, and high-performance workforce. You will drive our people strategy, work closely with leadership, and ensure that every individual at Farm Foods is empowered to reach their full potential.

Key Responsibilities:

Talent Acquisition & Development:

In collaboration with the Talent Acquisition Team, lead the recruitment process aligned with seasonal demands

Employee Engagement & Culture:

Build a vibrant company culture that inspires collaboration, creativity, and excellence.

Performance Management:

Establish performance metrics, coach leaders on effective feedback practices, and drive a culture of accountability while supporting employees in their development journeys.

Strategic Workforce Planning:

Collaborate with senior leadership to anticipate and address future workforce needs, making sure we have the right people, in the right roles, at the right time.

Compliance & Risk Management:

Ensure compliance with local and national labor laws, and create policies that promote a safe, fair, and inclusive working environment. Develop and implement HR strategies that support productivity and compliance with labour laws (including BCEA, OHSA, and LRA)

HR Analytics & Reporting:

Use data and insights to continuously improve our human capital strategy and make informed, evidence-based decisions.

Lead all Human Capital (HC) operations

across multiple agricultural sites Partner with leadership to shape

organizational development and succession planning

What We're Looking For:

To succeed in this role, you'll need more than just HR expertise--you'll need a strategic mindset, a passion for leadership, and a drive to make a difference. Here's what we're looking for:

Experience:

A proven track record in HR management, with at least 5 years in a leadership role, preferably in an agriculture industry.

Education:

A Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Industrial Psychology, or related fields

Skills & Expertise:

+ Strong understanding of South African labour laws and HR best practices + Exceptional communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
+ Proven leadership in a multi-site, diverse workforce environment
+ Expertise in HR systems and analytics, with the ability to leverage data for informed decision-making.
+ Experience in change management, conflict resolution, and leadership development.
+ A proactive approach to problem-solving, with an ability to adapt quickly to changing business needs.
Willingness to be

based in and travel regularly within the Northern Cape
