Role PurposeExecute various Human Capital administrative processes and tasks to support the Human Capital Team in delivering consistent and exceptional service that empowers the business to achieve its strategic objectives.
Requirements

  • Matric.
  • BCom degree in Human Resources or related field.
  • 2-3 years HR administration experience, financial services environment would be advantageous.
  • Experience with systems like PeopleSoft, PeopleConnect, PeopleTrax, LinkedIn and Wamly.
Duties & Responsibilities
  • Provide administrative support for the recognition programme to ensure that the programme is run effectively and efficiently.
  • Support the coordination and administration of the performance management cycle to ensure that managers have sufficient information to complete performance management activities within specified timeframes.
  • Provide administration support during employee relations processes.
  • File and maintain all relevant employee relations related documentation (e.g., CCMA, ).
  • Prepare job advertisements and post on the relevant platforms to attract suitable candidates.
  • Coordinate the sign off and processing of invoices to ensure that suppliers are paid within agreed timeframes.
  • Review and screen CVs received from job advertisements and in collaboration with the HR team short-list relevant candidates in line with the selection criteria.
  • Conduct telephonic interviews with candidates to assess candidate suitability.
  • Conduct ad hoc interviews for junior roles to assess candidate suitability.
  • Conduct reference checks and background checks on short-listed candidates and provide feedback to the relevant stakeholders.
  • Book and coordinate the logistical arrangements for the recruitment and assessment process (interviews, meeting rooms etc.).
  • Support the employee referral process by fielding employee referral submissions, conducting referral phone interviews, tracking all referrals, and submitting qualified referrals to the relevant stakeholders.
  • Coordinate and support the on-boarding and integration programme for new employees.
  • Capture and maintain employee and position management data on the relevant system and ensure that data quality and integrity standards are adhered to.
  • Compile employee documentation and ensure that HR documentation is timeously and accurately submitted to the relevant stakeholders.
  • Accurately populate employee contracts with the relevant information and coordinate sign off.
  • Ensure that all contracts and payroll documentation are submitted to payroll within the agreed timeframe.
  • Quality check payroll documentation to ensure completeness.
  • Request benchmarks from central compensation for relevant roles, follow up, and document feedback.
  • Facilitate the exit process by providing exit documentation to relevant parties and coordinating the logistical arrangements.
  • Assist HR team with projects and research on an ad hoc basis.
  • Co-ordinate all the components (logistics, catering etc.) of events, meetings and functions within budget and specifications.
