About the Role
We are looking for a hybrid technical and strategic specialist to join our growing team. This role is being created to directly support our increasing HubSpot workload and to drive the performance of our clients' B2B cold email campaigns. Reporting directly to the Managing Director, you will be a crucial player in our service delivery, acting as a key point of contact for clients and taking ownership of their results.
Your primary focus will be split between providing expert HubSpot support (approximately 60%) and executing strategic cold email outreach (approximately 40%). You will be the go-to person for building workflows, running reports, solving technical challenges in HubSpot, and simultaneously managing the end-to-end process of B2B email campaigns.
About You
You are a proactive, detail-oriented problem-solver with a genuine passion for marketing technology and lead generation. You thrive in a fast-paced agency environment and are comfortable managing multiple client priorities. While you value collaboration and support, you have the confidence to think for yourself, troubleshoot issues independently, and take ownership of your work.
To be successful in this role, you must have:
A minimum of 3 years of experience working within a marketing agency environment.
Demonstrable, hands-on experience building reports, custom properties, and workflows in HubSpot.
Proven experience setting up B2B cold email campaigns from scratch, including building targeted prospect lists (e.g., using Apollo.io), writing effective copy, and using outreach tools (e.g., or similar ).
A strong understanding of Ideal Customer Profiles (ICPs) and how to apply them to targeted list-building.
Experience liaising directly with clients, managing their queries, and reporting on performance.
It would be a bonus if you have:
Experience supporting HubSpot onboarding or implementation projects.
Previous experience working for a certified HubSpot Partner agency.
Previous experience working with a cold email marketing agency
A Day in the Life
No two days are exactly the same, but you can expect a dynamic blend of technical execution and strategic client work. A typical day might see you:
Starting your morning by checking the HubSpot helpdesk, troubleshooting a client query, or building out a complex workflow to automate a marketing process.
Diving into a client's HubSpot portal to create a new dashboard that gives them clear visibility on their marketing performance.
Shifting gears to an email campaign, building a highly targeted prospect list in Apollo.io for a new client launch.
Writing and loading fresh email copy into Instantly.ai, ensuring every detail is perfect before launch.
Managing the inbox for active campaigns, responding to positive replies, and flagging any client-specific questions.
Ending your day by compiling a weekly performance report for a client meeting, pulling key metrics and adding your own strategic insights on what to test next.

A competitive salary will be offered, dependent on experience. 17,000 - 20,000 ZAR
Flexibility:
This is a part-time role at 20 hours per week. We offer significant flexibility in your working hours and pattern, though we require availability for team and client communication via chat during standard business hours.
Growth:
The role is initially part-time, but there is strong potential for it to become a full-time position for the right candidate who demonstrates impact and is keen to grow with the company while it can remain part time for those who prefer.
