ROLE PURPOSE

The Role

The Mid - Senior HR Partner is an advocate of Publicis Groupe Africa's culture and values, collaborating with our business leaders and the general employee population to help them build their organisation's and make sure all people decisions are based on business and people understanding, empathy and data. You will work closely with the mentioned talent team verticals, to deliver best-in-class support to the business. You will be the day-to-day consultants on organisational effectiveness initiatives and drive Publicis Groupe's values and beliefs. You will be responsible for all agencies and employees within Publicis Commerce.

BUSINESS PARTNERING
  • Implement value added solutions across our Employee Experience that align with the business objectives
  • Support the Talent Managers with people and business insights that informs and builds expertise in: career planning, performance management, data analysis, compensation and rewards, employee relations, learning and development, recognition programs, and strategic development.
  • Identify trends in both qualitative and quantitative data to help improve our employee experience
  • Consult with leaders & managers to execute our integrated talent strategy & influence lasting change
  • Contribute to building a positive reputation and meaningful relationship between the Talent team and the business
  • Represent the voice of the employer, with empathy of the employee
  • Have a true understanding of the business from a macro and micro level to truly deliver based on agency nuances
  • Be proactive in driving positive employee engagement
  • Positive anacdotal feedback on the Talent team from the busissness
  • All employees completed MPC appraisals

OPERATIONAL EXCELLENCE
  • Contribute to ensuring that the HRIS is accurate and up-to-date
  • Ensure your cluster have a full understanding of legal compliance, policies and procedures that all employees must comply to within Publicis Groupe
  • Develop & delivery training
  • Look to mitigate IR investigations by ensuring the business leads understand implications to actions towards employees
  • Status reports - updated weekly
  • Overseeing work flow & delivery of the employee experience - from Join/ Perform/ Learn / Transform & Exit

EMPLOYEE EXPERIENCE

Collaborate with the specialist talent verticals to plan & drive successful employee experience events & initiatives, accountable for the process from ideation to execution. Including, but not limited to a project planning, internal communication, event management, content management & post event analysis & feedback

Join
  • Approvals: Obtain an approval on the GHT for any new / replacement positions
  • Recruit: oversee the recruitment for hires within your cluster, with leaders and talent acquisition team. Understand the brief, role & competitors for recruited roles.
  • Induction & on-boarding: Smooth & hassle free transition from CV to contract (candidate experience throughout lifecycle). Plan and drive all new hires employee immersion in agency inductions and on-boarding
Perform
  • Ensure smooth rollout of talent performance tools such as MPC for all employees & assist in the upload of goals
  • Manage reviews bi-annually for Managing Partners & leaders - to cascade into teams
  • Guide Leaders on building consistent & regular performance management into their leadership practice.
Learn
  • Provide learning & development team with insight into training needs and skills/knowledge gaps within your agencies
  • Support the learning and development team in driving a learning culture and enrollments/completion of Marcel Classes courses
Transform
  • Provide necsessary information to transformation team and contribute to the awarding of BEE points
  • Foster conversations around inclusion and diversity to improve the working environment for all employees (especially those feeling excluded)
  • Handle IR concerns in a professional, and confidentail manner
Exit
  • Conduct exit interviews
  • Provide talent team and business with exit interview trends & insight
  • Ensure terminations are effectively complete by working with HR Ops and Re:sources
  • Positive onboarding experience
