We are urgently seeking a highly skilled and experienced HR Officer to join our team in the mining industry. The HR Officer will play a vital role in managing the human resources functions and processes within the organization, ensuring that our workforce is supported and engaged.
Key Responsibilities:
Develop and implement HR policies and procedures in line with industry regulations and best practices
Manage the recruitment and onboarding process for new employees, including conducting interviews and background checks
Coordinate training and development programs for employees to enhance their skills and capabilities
Handle employee relations issues, including grievances, disciplinary actions, and performance management in collaboration with the labor consultants
Manage compensation and benefits packages for employees, ensuring they are competitive and in line with industry standards
Implement health and safety initiatives to promote a safe working environment for all employees
Keep abreast of changes in labor laws and regulations, ensuring compliance within the organization
Qualifications:
Qualification in Human Resources or related field
Minimum of 3 years of experience in HR roles within the mining industry
Strong knowledge of HR policies and procedures, labor laws, and regulations
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to work well under pressure and handle multiple tasks simultaneously
Proficiency in HR software and Microsoft Office Suite
