We're seeking a HR Officer, to focus on HR related operations, compliance and administrative activities and play a pivotal role in delivering efficient, compliant, and people-focused HR services.
This position supports both operational excellence and employee well-being, ensuring HR practices align with company policies and legislative requirements.
You'll be instrumental in implementing our human resource strategy, fostering a culture of engagement, and supporting managers and employees across the business.
Key Areas of Accountability
Recruitment, Onboarding & Orientation
Implement recruitment strategies and SOPs
Manage end-to-end recruitment
Administer employment and housing contracts
Department of Labour liaison
Performance Management
Roll out performance appraisal systems
Ensure evaluations align with position profiles and are recorded
HR Policies & Compliance
Communicate and implement HR policies and procedures
Compile EE statistics and reporting
Prepare for and lead HR legislative and compliance audits
Manage stakeholder relationships
Report on compliance and ethical matters
Employee Engagement & Well-being
Drive initiatives to boost morale, engagement, and satisfaction
Organise wellness activities and employee events
Coordinate CSR/CSI projects and mobile clinic visits
HR Administration & Reporting
Maintain clear communication across all levels
Ensure accurate data capture and timely reporting
Organise workplace forum meetings and maintain minutes
Conduct housing inspections and maintain personnel files
Manage IR administration
Support all HR administrative functions and special projects
Requirements:
Relevant HR Qualification
5 years' experience in an HR Officer / HR Generalist role, ideally within the fruit/food packing industry
