An established fruit marketing concern, located in the EGVV region is actively involved in the growing and harvesting of deciduous fruit, for both local and international markets They are seeking to employ an HR Officer for their Farms.
This position plays a supportive role regarding daily HR functions on the farms, this includes but is not limited to relevant labour legislation, personnel policy, procedures and rules.
Duties & Responsibilities:

• Supporting the departments with HR information / queries / functions / audits.
• Managing the recruitment process, including advertising, screening applications, conducting interviews, and onboarding new employees
• Maintain and update HR administrative forms, records, templates and other HR-related documents,
• Developing and implementing HR policies and procedures to the farm's specific needs
• Maintaining accurate employee records, including personnel files
• Assist in investigating complaints, grievances and misconduct allegations
• Collation of data for Health & Safety, Skills Development and Employment Equity
• Identifying training needs, organizing and facilitating training programs
• Developing and implementing HR strategies that align with the overall business goals and objectives
• HR module management on FarmTrace system
• Ensure compliance in terms of SIZA standards and SAQ platform
• Responding to other ad-hoc queries.

Minimum Requirements:

• HR qualification
• Experience in similar position for at least five (3) years
• Computer Literate (MS Office)
• Knowledge of Farm and HR Management Systems
• Valid code 8 driver's license (travel to farms on regular basis)
• Knowledge of relevant Labour Legislation (SD13)
