Job Description

Hire Resolve is currently seeking a motivated HR Officer to join our client's mining team in the Free State. As an HR Officer, you will be responsible for managing the full range of human resources functions within the mining industry. This role will intail extensive recruitment and selection duties.Responsibilities:

• Manage the end-to-end recruitment process, including job postings, candidate screening, and conducting interviews
• Coordinate and administer employee onboarding and orientation programs
• Implement and manage performance management processes
• Provide advice and guidance to management and employees on HR-related matters
• Handle employee relations issues, including grievances and disciplinary actions
• Ensure compliance with labor laws and regulations
• Conduct training and development programs to enhance employee skills and knowledge
• Maintain accurate employee records and HR database
• Stay updated with industry trends and best practices in HR

Requirements

• National Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Human Resources or a related field
• At least 3 years of experience in an HR role within the mining industry
• Knowledge of labor laws and regulations
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Strong organizational and time management abilities
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, SAGE, and Biometrics
• Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion
• Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Professional certification in HR is a plus
