Job Description
HR Manager with Executive Management experience required
Minimum Requirements-
- Diploma / Degree in HR Management or relevant qualification.
- 10 xe2x80x93 15 yearsxe2x80x99 experience within a unionised construction or similar environment.
- 5 yearsxe2x80x99 experience in a managerial / leadership role
- Proven working experience in Industrial Relations, with a focus on the construction industry.
- This is a full-time Mid-Senior level position
- This position is responsible to manage 250 - 500 employees and includes Staffing and Recruiting
- Must be able to develop and implement HR policies and procedures.
- Work collaboratively with business unit leaders to develop HR programs and initiatives that align with the company's goals and objectives.
- Ensure compliance with all employment laws and regulations.
- Lead recruitment and selection efforts to ensure the right people are in the right roles.
- Manage employee relations issues, including investigations and resolution of conflicts.
- Oversee compensation and benefits programs to ensure market competitiveness and retention of top talent.
- Develop and deliver effective training and development programs for employees at all levels.
- Performance management co-ordination and administering of performance appraisals.
- Improve organisational structure and organisational development.
- Nurturing a corporate culture that boosts morale and encourages employee engagement.
- Manage payroll and HR administration.
Our client is a Civil Construction Company based in the Western Cape. They are seeking an HR Manager to join their Team at Head Office. The successful candidate will be responsible for leading the HR Team to develop and implement HR policies and procedures that align with the company's goals and objectives.
As a member of the Executive Management team, the HR Manager will work closely with business unit leaders to ensure that HR programs and initiatives support the needs of the business.
This position is best suited to an already, well mentored Construction HR Manager
