The Role
We're seeking an experienced
HR Manager / Recruiter
who understands the unique needs of a digital marketing agency. This hybrid position blends hands-on recruiting with core HR management functions. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record recruiting digital marketing professionals and managing HR operations for a remote team.
Key Responsibilities
Recruiting:
Source, interview, and hire top-tier digital marketing professionals, including:
Media Buyers (Facebook, Google, LinkedIn)
Google PPC Specialists
SEO Experts
Content Writers
Website Developers (WordPress, Java, PHP, Figma familiarity a plus)
Account Managers and Project Coordinators
Manage job postings, candidate pipelines, and hiring workflows
Develop relationships with recruiting platforms, universities, and networks
Support leadership in scaling the agency through strategic hiring initiatives
HR Management:
Oversee onboarding and offboarding processes for all team members
Manage vacation tracking, time-tracking compliance, and attendance
Handle policy development, employee handbooks, and HR documentation
Maintain performance tracking and disciplinary records
Support employee engagement and retention initiatives
Collaborate with leadership to improve team culture, productivity, and accountability
Qualifications
5+ years of HR and recruitment experience with a digital agency
Prior experience recruiting for digital marketing roles (required)
Strong understanding of performance marketing, SEO, and creative roles
Familiarity with remote team management and time-tracking systems (e.g., Hubstaff, Worksnaps, Clockify, Zoho People or similar)
Excellent communication, organization, and interpersonal skills
Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced, high-growth environment
