Job Description
Minimum requirements for the role:
- Must have a Bachelors degree in Human Resources Management or equivalent qualification
- Minimum 3 years experience in an HR Generalist role is essential
- Knowledge of and experience in the scope of HR services according to the most recent labour laws and regulations will be required for this role
- Conduct and follow matters related to personnel administration.
- Implement and manage the payroll processes (weekly salaries, monthly salaries, PAYE).
- Implement and maintain HR and IR policies and processes.
- Cultivate a company culture based on company core values.
- Perform annual people and salary reviews.
- Review and implement contract templates (fixed-term, permanent, consultant, non-compete).
- Fill vacancies and provide support to Managers in terms of succession planning.
- Design, support and continually improve the organisations talent frameworks, tools and resources for performance management and employee development plans.
- Lead labour management relationships and personnel policies to advise Management.
- Implement and manage employees benefits such as annual leave, medical aid, pension fund and others.
- Ensure compliance with labour laws and POPI Act.
- Manage day to day HR budget and spending and manage the HR reporting budget in collaboration with the Finance department.
- Prepare and submit periodic reports.
