Requirements

  • HR/IR related degree or educational equivalent
  • Minimum five yearsxe2x80x99 experience working as a generalist or a combination of generalist and specialist
  • A minimum of three yearsxe2x80x99 experience in a senior management position
  • Solid knowledge of HR & IR principles and processes
  • Understand budget systems and controls
  • Solid understanding of current labour and personal tax legislation
  • Intermediate proficiency in Microsoft applications
  • Flexibility with regards to working hours and willingness to travel

Description
  • Coordinate the HR & IR function across the Group
  • Develop, maintain and review HR & IR strategies, policies and procedures, ensuring that they are aligned with Group and legislative requirements
  • Formulate, standardise and oversee the implementation of the Group's HR & IR policies and procedures
  • Manage internal labour relations procedures, including CCMA representation
  • Develop and ensure the submission of statutory reports, i.e. WSP, ATR, EE and WCA reports
  • Develop, implement and monitor EE plans as per statutory requirements
  • Oversee Group training and development plans, monitor capability and take action to ensure that high standards are met
  • Lead and direct HR/IR activities and initiatives associated with change management, such as take-overs, restructures, acquisitions and transfers, ensuring compliance with legislation
  • Effective facilitation and leveraging of the Group's employee benefits
  • Implement appropriate HR systems and ensure efficient HR admin and recordkeeping, including payroll management
  • Develop, manage and oversee the functional HR budget and manage expenses within budget allocations
  • Act as a Business Partner to senior managers, ensuring that HR delivery adds value to the business
  • Lead the HR team in providing a consistently high-level HR partnering service
  • Oversee the BBBEE scorecard application and renewal process for all wholly owned subsidiaries
  • Advise on Human Capital planning and sourcing
